The original Philipsen hoof disc has already proven itself tens of thousands of times in practice. The hoof disc, which was specially developed for cattle hoof care, is particularly convincing due to its extremely long service life.
Placement: The placement provides information on how densely or widely the carbide pieces are scattered on the claw disc. The advantage of a wide placement is mainly that the claw chips cannot get stuck so easily between the carbide pieces and therefore the disc does not get dirty so quickly. Much more hoof treatments are possible before the hoof disc has to be cleaned. On the other hand, a dense fitting is recommended for very hard claws, which is especially the case when cattle frequently go out to pasture.
