12 V / 230 V Energiser turbomax® AN800

The turbomax ® AN800 electric fence can be connected to 230 V mains power and a 12 V rechargeable battery at the same time. In the event of a mains power failure, uninterrupted operation is guaranteed via the battery. Optionally, the electric fence can also be operated with a solar panel.

For more safety of man and animal the function "Impulse Control" switches off the electric fence unit in case of too fast impulse emission (e.g. technical defect) or reduces the output energy. Due to the 2-stage technology, in case of disturbances, e.g. fresh vegetation or a fallen gate handle, higher energies are fed into the fence after a safety interval of 55 seconds, which means that your animals are safe on the pasture even in case of disturbances.

In order to supply the electric fence reliably, the electric fence unit works with an enormously high energy potential at fence loads above 500 Ohm. Due to the practical turbo effect, the electric fence device emits a second pulse in case of disturbances, which greatly increases the herding effect. For this purpose, the output voltage is increased, but this does not lead to a strong energy consumption. Via the high-quality 2-color LED control display, the battery capacity and the activity of the device can be clearly seen. For optimal pulse control, the electric fence unit flashes in time with the pulse indication. This allows you to recognize the activity of the device from a distance.

With the convenient on/off switch on the electric fence unit, you no longer have to turn off the power with a fence switch or by pulling the plug. The electric fence device will indicate strong load changes with clearly audible and visible signals when the load falls below 500 ohms. Your pasture fence should then be checked for faults or damage.

An integrated deep discharge cut-off protects the battery. The 6-step voltage display enables fence function monitoring and is easy to read from a distance. Our electric fence units are made of high-quality plastics and are UV-resistant, splash-proof, torsion-resistant, impact-resistant as well as oil-resistant. This guarantees you many years of durability of the electric fence device.

The electric fence device is suitable for fence lengths (medium vegetation) up to 21 km.

We recommend setting up the electric fence with 3 grounding rods for optimal fence safety.
